Hi! I’m Yara El-Badaoui, a recent Graphic Design graduate with a love for creativity and exploring new ways to communicate ideas. I aim to combine my appreciation for art and design with a desire to create work that resonates with people, bringing new ideas to life through thoughtful design. This website showcases a selection of projects I’ve created throughout my university experience, and as that chapter closes, I’m eager to continue evolving as a designer in the next phase of my career.
Design with purpose
I am a Graphic Designer and artist who is passionate about embracing design in all forms. My practice mainly focuses on social impact design as to serve as a voice and catalyst for change. I believe it is essential to harness design as a transformative tool for advocating change, and so I aim to create purposeful work that incorporates visual communication and information design to spark impactful conversation.
Bridging the gap
Whilst advocacy design is important to me out of a sense of duty and responsibility, I equally enjoy exploring other avenues of design as well – such as brand image and visual marketing. The idea of contributing to the creative development of a brand’s identity is one I find truly rewarding as I play a crucial role in the shaping of a relationship between business and consumer. As a designer, I create experiences that are influential to the way a brand is perceived while staying true to its mission and core values, with the goal of establishing a meaningful connection with its audience.
